This version, called Four Colors Multiplayer, is made by Code This Lab. It follows the familiar rules of the card game everyone knows, so if you have played with real cards you can start right away.
How to Play Uno Online
- Choose single player or multiplayer. Single player puts you against computer opponents; multiplayer lets you pick a nickname and play online.
- Look at the top card on the discard pile.
- Play a matching card. It must have the same colour, the same number or the same symbol.
- Can't play? Draw a card. If you have no match, take a card from the deck.
- Say "Uno" when you have one card left.
- Empty your hand first to win the round.
Action Cards Explained
| Card | What it does |
|---|---|
| Skip | The next player misses their turn. |
| Reverse | Changes the direction of play. |
| Draw Two (+2) | The next player draws two cards and misses their turn. |
| Wild | Play on any card and choose the new colour. |
| Wild Draw Four (+4) | Choose the colour, and the next player draws four cards. |
Basic Rules of the Card Game
Every player starts with a hand of cards. Players take turns placing one card on the pile. A card can be played when it matches the top card by colour, number or symbol, and wild cards can be played at any time. If you can't play, you draw from the deck. When you are down to your last card, you must call "Uno"; if you forget, you may have to draw extra cards as a penalty. The first player with no cards left wins the round.

Single Player and Multiplayer
Single player
Play against computer opponents at your own pace. It's ideal for learning the rules or for a quick game without waiting.
Multiplayer
Choose a nickname and join an online table. You play against real people, which makes every round less predictable and more fun.
Uno Online Strategy Tips
- Save your Wild cards. They can rescue you when you have no match, so don't use them too early.
- Change to your strongest colour. When you play a Wild, pick the colour you have the most of.
- Use +2 and +4 on the leader. Target the player with the fewest cards.
- Get rid of high-value and action cards first so you are not stuck with them.
- Watch which colours others can't play. If someone draws on blue, switching to blue can block them.
- Never forget to call Uno.
Common Mistakes
- Playing a Wild when you have a matching card: save it for later.
- Keeping too many action cards: they are most useful when played at the right time, not at the end.
- Forgetting to call Uno on your last card.
Why Players Love It
Everyone knows how to play this card game, which makes it one of the easiest games to start online. Rounds are quick, the rules are simple, and action cards add plenty of surprises: one +4 at the right time can turn a losing hand into a win. Playing against the computer is relaxing, while online games against real people feel more competitive because you never know what they are holding.
The game also works well on every device. Big, clear cards are easy to tap on an iPad, and on a computer you only need the mouse. It's a great choice for a short break, a family game night or practising the rules before playing with real cards.
Is Uno Online Good for Kids?
Yes. It is a simple, family-friendly card game that helps children practise colours, numbers and planning ahead. Single player mode is completely offline from other people, so younger kids can enjoy it safely; multiplayer adds real players from around the world.
