Classic Ludo Rules
Each player has four tokens in red, green, yellow or blue. A six lets you leave the start and roll again. Landing on an opponent sends their token back to the start, but star squares are safe. The first player to bring all four tokens home wins.
Game Modes
Play single player against bots with two or four players on the board, or try the online mode and join a room. Matches usually take 10 to 20 minutes.
Tips for Ludo Hero
- Get several tokens out early.
- Use safe squares when enemies are close.
- Capture when you can: it slows rivals down.
- Do not leave tokens just in front of an opponent.
Why Ludo Hero Is So Fun
Ludo mixes luck with simple strategy, so every match is exciting. Capturing a token right before it gets home is a great feeling, and no two games are the same.
A Game With a Long History
Ludo comes from Pachisi, a board game played in India for hundreds of years. It became popular around the world in a simpler form with dice, four colours and a cross-shaped board. Today it is one of the most played board games on phones and computers, especially with families.
Playing online keeps all the classic fun but removes the setup. There are no pieces to lose, and the game counts the moves for you, which is handy for younger players who are still learning.
Great for Family Game Night
Up to four people can play, so it is a perfect pick for a family game night. Younger kids practise counting, while older players think about which token to move each turn.
Is Ludo Hero Good for Kids?
Yes. Ludo is a family board game that helps kids practise counting and taking turns. Online rooms do not use free chat, but younger kids can stick to the computer mode.
