How Drift Hunters Points Work

You earn points while your car is sliding. The longer and faster the drift, the more points pile up. Crash into a wall or straighten out, and the drift ends. Points then become money for the garage. That is the loop that makes the game addictive: drift, buy an upgrade, drift better.

Tuning Guide: What the Settings Do

The garage lets you upgrade the engine, turbo, gearbox, brakes and weight, and fine-tune the car's setup:

• Camber changes how the wheels tilt and affects grip.
• Offset moves the wheels in or out.
• Height lowers or raises the car.
• Brake balance and pressure change how the car reacts when you brake into a corner.

If you are new, upgrade the engine and turbo first. More power makes it much easier to keep the rear wheels spinning through a long drift.

Getting the Most From Your First Car

1. Start on an open track with wide corners.
2. Turn in, tap Space, then steer the other way to hold the slide.
3. Stay on the gas during the drift; lifting off ends it.
4. Save points for one big upgrade instead of many small ones.

Tracks and Locations

There are ten locations, including Nishuri, Stadium, Tyshen, Emashi and Forest. Some are wide race tracks, others are tight city streets. Wide tracks are best for learning and farming points; the city maps are a real test once your car control is good.

A Simple Practice Routine

If your drifts keep ending early, try this: pick one corner on a wide track and drive it again and again. First, just get the car sideways. Next, hold the slide until the exit. Finally, link it into the next corner without straightening up. Ten minutes of this teaches more than an hour of random driving, and it earns points at the same time. When the corner feels easy, move to a tighter one or switch to a more powerful car.
