The Goal of Each Level

Each level is a building full of rooms, lifts and doors. Somewhere at the end is the item Bob wants to steal. On the way, you can search crates and chests for extra money. Get spotted, and the level is over, so patience pays off.

Staying Hidden

• Stay in the shadows so robots and guards can't see you.
• Watch the security cameras; they move left and right.
• Disable lasers at the electrical panels before walking through.
• Wait for the right moment instead of rushing past.

Some special doors need a code. Look around the level and read the notes you find; the numbers you need are usually hidden somewhere in the rooms. Then click the digits on the panel to open the door.

The Bob the Robber Series

This is the first game in the series. Later games send Bob to new places, from Japanese buildings to an ancient temple with mummies. If you enjoy this one, the sequels add more gadgets and tougher guards.

Tips for Beginners

Read the notes and signs you find. The first levels explain how things work, and later levels hide door codes in them. Before entering a new room, stop at the door and watch for a few seconds: guards and robots walk in patterns, and cameras sweep back and forth on a timer. Once you know the pattern, slipping past is easy. Search every crate and chest you can reach safely, because the extra money is part of your score. And if you get caught, don't worry; you simply restart the level with everything you have learned.
