Tanks, Helicopters and Jets

Vehicles are what make this game special. The APC and tank are tough on the ground, while the helicopter and jet control the sky. You can drive or fly yourself, or hop in as a gunner and let a teammate steer. A good team often wins by coordinating vehicles rather than by running around alone.

Playing the Objective

In modes like Missile Launch, Package Retrieval and Vehicle Escort, kills are not the only thing that matters. Teams that guard the objective, escort the vehicle or carry the package together usually beat teams that only chase kills. Check the mode before you spawn and play for the goal.

• Fight from cover and avoid open fields.

Tips for Your First Matches

New players often run straight at the enemy and get taken out by a tank or a sniper they never saw. Slow down a little. Stick close to teammates, use buildings and hills as cover, and watch the minimap to see where the fighting is. When a vehicle spawns near you, grab it: even a short ride gets you to the action faster and safer. And don't be afraid to try being a gunner in a helicopter; it is one of the easiest ways to score points while you learn the maps.

Once you know a couple of maps well, try the objective modes. They reward teamwork, and they are often more fun than pure deathmatch.
