How the Chase Works

As soon as you start, police cars come after you. You can't fight back; you can only drive. Quick turns and drifts make the police overshoot corners and crash into each other or into buildings. Get boxed in or wrecked and you are caught.

• Avoid dead ends and narrow alleys.
• Keep moving. Stopping, even for a second, is how you get caught.

Your First Runs

Your first car is slow, and the police catch up quickly, so don't expect long escapes at the start. Focus on staying alive for a few more seconds each time and making at least one police car crash. That money adds up. After a handful of runs you can unlock a better car, and suddenly the city feels very different. Try a few different cars too; some turn sharper, which is more useful than top speed in narrow streets.

A tip that helps a lot: drive in wide circles around big blocks. The police cars bunch up behind you, and one sharp turn can make several of them crash at once.

Is Escape Road Good for Kids?

It is a cartoon pixel chase with crashes and small explosions, but no people get hurt and there is no chat. It suits most kids aged 8 and up.
