How Swinging Works

Hold down and your stickman shoots a rope to the nearest hook. Keep holding and he swings around it, picking up speed. Let go and he flies forward. Timing Your Release

The best moment to let go is usually on the upswing, when your stickman is moving forward and slightly upward. Release too early and you drop short; release too late and you fly backward. Watch the arc of the swing, not the hook. After a few levels, your thumb starts to feel the right moment by itself.

Bounce Pads and Obstacles

Some levels add bouncy pads that throw you back up into the air and obstacles you need to swing around. Pads are your friend: landing on one at speed launches you high enough to skip whole sections. Use them on purpose instead of just reacting to them.

As you clear levels you can unlock new characters for your stickman. It is a small extra, but it is a nice reward for pushing through the harder levels.

If a level keeps beating you, slow down. Try one swing at a time and watch exactly where your stickman lands after each release. Most fails come from letting go too late. It also helps to remember that you don't have to grab every hook; sometimes skipping one with a long, fast swing is the cleanest route.
