In single player mode you can use the arrow keys. Two players share one keyboard, so each person sits at one side of it.

Supershots and Special Moves

The supershot is what makes this game different from a normal football match. When it is ready, a supershot sends the ball at a speed that is very hard to block. The trick is not to waste it: use it when you are close to goal and the other player is out of position, not from your own half.

Sliding is just as important. A well-timed slide can take the ball away from your opponent and turn defence into attack in a second.

How to Win a Football Legends Tournament

1. Defend first. Stay between the ball and your goal, especially early in the match.
2. Use headers. Jumping into high balls wins you a lot of easy goals.
3. Save the supershot for a clear chance.
4. Watch the clock. If you are ahead late in the game, play it safe.

Later opponents are faster and shoot more often, so the habits you build in the first rounds really matter.

Playing With a Friend

The 2 player mode is the best part for many families. Both players use one keyboard, so siblings, friends or parents and kids can play side by side. Matches are short, so it is easy to play a best of three and swap sides.
